WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
G & C Atelier is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, operating as an online-first fragrance house.
DO YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL STORE?
No. We operate exclusively online to maintain a refined and controlled fragrance experience.
CAN I BECOME A RESELLER?
We are currently focused on launching and establishing our core collection.
Selected retail partnerships may be considered in a later phase of the brand.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS AN ORDER?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Orders placed outside of operating hours, on weekends, or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Where possible, orders placed before daily courier cut-off times may be prepared for collection on the same business day.
HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
Estimated delivery timeframes from the date of dispatch are:
- Gauteng (local): 1–2 business days
- Major centres: 2–3 business days
- Outlying / regional areas: 3–5 business days

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
We offer a nationwide flat rate of R110 for all deliveries within South Africa.
DO YOU OFFER ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY OR COLLECTION OPTIONS?
Yes. Where available, you may select convenient pickup options through our delivery partners, including secure locker and collection point services such as Pargo and Bob Box.
These options allow you to collect your parcel at a time that suits you.
WHAT IF MY AREA IS NOT SERVICED BY COURIER?
Yes. In addition to standard delivery, we offer collection point options through partners such as Pargo and Bob Box.
These services allow you to select a convenient pickup location that suits you.

Once received, we will:
- Review the selected location
- Confirm delivery feasibility
- Provide you with a final delivery cost
An invoice will then be issued, and your order will be processed once payment has been received.

- Collection orders are processed manually
- Payment must be completed via invoice before dispatch
- These orders are not eligible for BNPL or standard checkout payment methods
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking update via email from our courier partner. This will allow you to follow your delivery in real time.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED?
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear images of both the packaging and product.
This allows us to assess the issue promptly and assist with a resolution in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
CAN I RETURN A FRAGRANCE IF I DON'T LIKE THE SCENT?
No. Due to the personal and hygienic nature of fragrance products, we do not accept returns on opened or used items.
Fragrance preferences, including scent expectations, do not qualify for a return.
WHAT ITEMS CAN BE RETURNED?
Returns are only accepted under the following conditions:
- The item received is damaged on arrival, or
- The incorrect item was supplied
Damaged items should be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
All return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery, in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE ONCE AN ORDER HAS BEEN DISPATCHED?
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is handled by third-party courier partners.
While we take great care in packaging all orders securely, delivery outcomes are subject to the courier’s handling and processes.
